Blue and yellow/orange is another pair of complimentary colors. They make interesting pictures. Find them at twilight hours.
I took this on pure luck, and framed it unconsciously. In wide angle shots it is important to find interesting foregrounds to lead the viewer to the middle and the background of the frame. In this case, the base of the tower forms an exquisite and interesting pattern for the whole picture.
I didn't have a tripod. I rested my camera on a little piece of concrete and flipped on the self-timer, and hoped for the best.
The moral of the story: keep shooting, and take lots of pictures.
